About the Journal

Focus and Scope
 
The Journal Embedded Selforganising Systems is an online, multi-media, academic journal that adheres to the highest standards of peer review and engages established and emerging scholars from anywhere in the world. The Journal Embedded Selforganising Systems is an interdisciplinary journal that, while centered in computer engineering, is open and welcoming to contributions from many disciplines and approaches that meet at the crossroads of embedded selforganising systems.
 
This peer-reviewed journal aims to be a high quality scientific publication that will be of interest to researchers in all disciplines involved in embedded systems. The journal will be published electronically with free and open access via the internet. We aim for a fast review and publication process, so that papers could be published fast.
 
 
Peer Review Process
 
Each submitted paper will be assigned to one Editor by the Editorial Board. The Editor will select two expert reviewers of the Advisory Board. Those reviews and the final decision of the editor will be used for publication.
 
 
Publication Frequency
 
ESS appears two times per year.
 
 
Open Access Policy
 
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

The journal is supported by the Regional Group Chemnitz of GI ( Gesellschaft für Informatik e.V.).
